I like their look as they are much smaller than the old transformer based halogen bulbs they replace. Note, however, that they put out a VERY bright, cool white light and don't have a diffuser to avoid glare when aimed at where people might need to look at them. I'm expecting a wall dimmer (they're documented as dimmable) to mute them when they're pointing through our living room to the sofa. I could also test how hot they get and if not too hot then maybe put some diffusing foil on the front. Assembly is easy. Simply insert it into the rail at a right angle and click it into place by turning.
