There are a ton of variations of this bag on ebay. I actually ordered a few to see which one was ultimately the best. This was the winner! My number one criteria was that the bag had to be tall enough to hold my 9" tall hairbrush and 8.5" makeup brushes. I also really wanted elastic edges for all the inside pockets in the main section. Most of the other bags don't have elastic along the top, which makes the pockets baggy and useless if you're putting smaller items in them. This bag also has a swivel hook which was harder to find. It doesn't seem like a big deal until you're trying to hang your bag on a random towel rack in a hotel and the whole bag keeps falling off because the thing is at a weird angle.There are a bunch of well thought out pockets. I really like all my items to be in their own sections, so this bag is right up my OCD alley. I have quite a bit of makeup and this bag holds it all. I also have a clear plastic zip bag from the Container store that hold all my liquids and this fits in there too so I can take it out easily when I pass through security. There's also room for my flat iron, if I put it at an angle.I would have liked to see a pocket on the inside wall of the two side brush pockets. Maybe to hold little things like flossers. The elastic on the two side pockets is a bit high as well. It would be more helpful to be a few centimeters lower. That would make this bag perfect. It's pretty close to perfect, though, and I'm excited to go on a trip! I'll probably buy the smaller version of this bag for my husband.I hope this size of bag is eventually made in the other colors like the navy plaid or beige. It's really hard to find toiletry bags in colors other than black, red or teenage-ish colors like hot pink and turquoise.
