This is a great buy for less than $50. The parts have a good weight and are well made. The handles are amazing, provide a firm, non-slip, well-balanced grip. The lids are ventilated and durable. That they don't fit in the pans seems like a baseless complaint to me. I still don't use lids when frying. The set looks great and is easy to clean. The heat distribution is also good. Their heavier weight seems to disperse heat better than most. As for some other reviewers' complaints about the non-stick surface, all I can say is to buy a few cast iron sets and let them age properly. Maintaining any non-stick surface requires a little more effort, but pays off in the long run with the ease of cleaning. I bought the cheapest nonstick sets and used them for years. It just takes a little common sense. And it helps if you're the only one cooking for them. I would recommend this set to anyone who doesn't want to spend too much.
