This replaced a similar brewer that was bursting certain K cups and delivering too little water per brew of both K cups and ground coffee. That one was also hard to clean. This Solo brewer has brewed Twinings tea K cups, hot chocolate K cups, and coffee K cups, plus finely ground beans of two types, flawlessly. I brew everything on the bold setting. There is nothing left to clean that is not taken care of by an occasional brew without a beverage. The K cup holder comes out for deeper rinsing.Other reviewers have mentioned trouble with "eco" type K cups, which have a filter instead of a plastic capsule, specifically ones by San Francisco Bay roasters. These are my stalwarts and work fine in this brewer.
