A few years ago I bought this to experiment with these PC heatsinks and fans to set up my ADSL router. very very slow download. So we tried with my friend to install a pc fan (the very small ones that the pc power supply uses) but it still generated a lot of heat (since it was on 24/7). And here come these little things . together, so we tried. and BOY, here we are. 2 years later and since THAT day my router has NEVER stopped working (except when the power went out or I turned it off for a deep cleaning). stick it on it (because it comes with an adhesive strip underneath), close the router, make a hole for the air blown into the case by a PC fan, weld the wires to the corresponding power supply pins, try it also. voila! Failsafe, 24/7 failsafe ADSL router.
