Really wish it was a better hub but it still does the job. "Metal" is painted plastic, which is understandable, but it certainly doesn't feel or look like poppy metal, meaning it really stands out and looks cheap. Aside from the branding being very big and very noticeable, I don't really like it either. It still gets the job done and everything seems relatively fast, we're talking about 2 USB-C ports here. I think if the build quality was a bit better it would make a big difference, but the data transfer speed is something I'm for got it and wasn't disappointed.
