I have DC 07, 2 pieces. I've had them for over 10 years. Both hoses are cracked and need to be replaced. I was very pleased to find that Revain have a range of replacement parts for my Dyson vacuums. For a fraction of the price of an original Dyson part, I think it met and exceeded my expectations. As other reviewers have pointed out, it's not as content-heavy as the original. I will give you advice that will ensure the longest possible service life for your hose. Wipe down the wand weekly with a damp paper towel. Once dry, apply a very thin coat of WD-40 or something similar. Wipe it thoroughly with a clean paper towel and your hose will literally slide back and forth with absolute ease. Once it starts pulling a little heavier, give it a good clean and re-lube.
