The speaker ran for about 20 0ff/on cycles with the remote on, after which it would not turn on again. The remote control in the cabinet has failed. I am an electrician and have confirmed this. I called Rockville to send a new cabinet and they made my life miserable. First they wanted me to ship it back for my money ($96! shipping!) if I wanted a refund OR they would give me a prepaid shipping label if I wanted a replacement (which I did). However, they said they would only send a replacement (or refund) if the unit tests failed. Well 3 weeks later I haven't heard from them. Revane walked in and gave me back $96 so I was charged $24. The case looked great and sounded decent while it worked, but it probably wouldn't be wise to try another. Absolutely terrible customer service, Rockville, I am very disappointed.
