Lights stop working before Christmas. :(

We ordered this tree because we wanted more of the pencil tree look. Less than 2 weeks after putting up my tree the lights have quit working. The lights are part of the magic of Christmas. So I have 3 choices. Take down the tree and send it back. Put lights over the existing tree and ornaments or 3 go lightsless this season. I tried contacting the company for a replacement power cord and hook up with no response after several days. I would not recommend this product at all.
