Works great in parts and accessories
We've been using these in a sonic cool mist humidifier for a few years now and they work great! After less than a week of use, a slimy film formed in the humidifier tank. With two of these in a 1.5 gallon tank, we only clean it once a month and there's still no slime. I would warn anyone with a demineralizer or carbon filter in their humidifier: they didn't work for us at all until we removed those two items from ours. My guess is that they end up filtering out or neutralizing the silver particles.
