I needed a grip for my heavily modified GH-4. I also needed an extra front shoe for my external microphone. This is the solution and also the best price I could find. It's a little heavier than expected, but that's ok. It's all metal except for the plastic wheel clamp, which I'll be replacing. The 1/4" and 3/8" screw holes are a big plus for my external monitor. And there is a bubble on this pen to see if you are on the same level or not. Vid Pro is basically a product for professional users, but this pen works great in my professional setup!
