This makeup set is very cute. It has a cute ladybug shape. When it's closed it's pretty small for everything it has inside. To open it, spread your wings and the makeup will spread and open so you can see everything. The wings open and close smoothly and easily. They close well to keep dust out. This set has a lot to offer. It has a little bit of almost everything you need. I don't wear a lot of makeup and what I wear every day is very understated. This set has everything I need except mascara for a gentle makeup. There's also enough eye shadow for me to flip things around and wear something more interesting for the evening. This set contains two shades of pressed powder. They are down with tassels. The color of the pressed powders is quite light. There is a small brush between them. This brush is completely useless for using pressed powder as it will take forever to get enough of it. There is also a double-ended foam eyeshadow brush on the bottom. Again, there is a small thin brush. The next layer contains three eye shadows and two lip glosses on each side. The lip gloss shines on the right side. On the left you have red and pink. These colors are pretty subtle. These are glosses, not lipstick. The top has a blush and four eye shadows on each side. There are a total of fourteen eyeshadows, two blushes, 4 lip glosses and 2 pressed powders. They are easy to use. They are pressed but not so tight that they cannot be used. The brushes that come with it aren't bad, but they're not perfect. I usually use my own brushes because I have a set that I really like and it's not tiny. I usually use green eyeshadows and shades of brown and pink. They have pleasant colors, lay down smoothly and evenly. The blush is ok. I don't wear blush very often, but applying it helps my pallor. I really like pink lip gloss and if I want a bit of glitter I wear some gloss on top. The lip gloss is not sticky like some of the lip glosses you get in kits like this. All in all a great makeup set. This is a small compact set that has a little bit of everything. This is great for those of us who don't wear a lot of makeup and like to try new colors.
