A very useful USB-C docking station! It has many uses, and yes, you'll need to buy more cables to get the results you want, whether it's charging in the dock or mirroring your device on another screen. This is a high performance docking station. I mean it's not a flimsy thing and it CAN support a laptop. However, if you lean against the side of the laptop while it's in the docking station, it will tip over. Normal wrist and finger pressure while typing will not move the dock. Keep an eye on the corners as you have two corners to adjust. Doc is very strong. You need muscles to bend it all the way. If a reliable installation is bought, it will not go anywhere. There are various ports/plugins on this docking station. It can handle a lot of energy at the same time. You'll need to connect it to power somehow to use its features, otherwise it's just a solid laptop or iPad stand. A cable is included and long enough to connect a USB-C tablet (I have an iPad Pro) to the dock. I can easily use an HDMI cable from the dock to another display device.
