I use this to store patio furniture covers. When the furniture is covered, the storage box can be folded and stored on the seat cushion under the sofa cover. When we remove the covers from the two sofas, the container opens to temporarily store them in a clean area. It's the perfect size and split in half for two covers. Very well made and strong, folds and locks with precision. lucky find!
