This worked really well for my 8 month old. My friends said they wish they had it when their kids were little. It's a very seemingly safe product. However, I did not understand how to work the snaps on the Canopy. I received the float with black plastic holes where the Canopy is supposed to snap. However the wire was in the way and didn't allow the Canopy to snap in. So if you get this one, you will have to figure out how to get the plastic black rings off. Otherwise you will need to get your baby a hat.Otherwise, I liked the self inflating part and the ease of the harness.
