This is really cool. I saw this while watching and it caught my attention. You download the app and connect the remote control to your phone via Bluetooth. This is done so that you can download remote profiles to a remote computer. Select your remote from those listed in the app, use an existing remote if you have one to discover the remote from another, or query the device if it's not already in the default list. Once you've finished setting up your remote, you won't need the app until you need to add another device. Pairing is easy, remote charging is easy.
