The fabric is very cheap, but I expected that for $24. The lacy bodice is missing the ribbon at the bottom, which is an important finishing touch. The lacy bodice is just unfinishes cut tulle. The picture shows the bottom of the dress as purple over purple, but it is actually white tulle as well. I expected the dress to be made this way. I will be adding satin ribbon to the bottom of the bodice along with some bling, because every princess wants some sparkle. It is important to note that the additional item suggested with this, a cancan, is too big for the dress. To compensate, I will also be adding about 4 inches of liner to the skirt for extra width. I have found in the past that this material works great with fabric glue instead of sewing because the material will fray very badly when cut. I will hand stitch the satin at the bottom of the bodice though. I'm giving you this information as a tip to help make this $24 dress look like a $500 dress. My overall rating is a 3, because the dress is the same color and shape as posted, but it is NOT the same dress. It is also very important to note that you MUST have a crinoline to make this dress work. It is one piece of very thin material and will be completely flat without one.
