Fine, but it's better to know your frequencies and choose an antenna optimized for those frequencies.

Landed in the trash - a broadband antenna is good in terms of "I don't need to know what frequency" but this antenna might give you 8 dBi, as close as I can I can tell, and although it is better than nothing, it's just not that great. In my case I'm about 16 miles from the nearest free tower which is 3,000 feet below my antenna height and even with an amplifier it just didn't work. Through my phone software I found that Verizon always started me on 700MHz LTE Band 13 but invariably put me on Band 4 on 1700/2100MHz even though the signal was much weaker there. This led Yagi to target these frequencies - Phonetone 1700-2100MHz AWS WCDMA 3G Directional Outdoor Antenna with N-Female where you get a 14dBi improvement. Having lived with that for a couple of years I'm now looking at dish antennas where you can get 19dBi or 23dBi depending on the model - while the current antenna works well the reception can be a little seasonal and also dependent on the weather and sometimes and still. Poor. I think in general it's best to know what frequencies you need and buy an antenna that targets those frequencies. That doesn't mean this antenna won't work for you, just that you can do better. The antenna is fairly well made, but the shield hides the fact that the antenna itself is actually quite small, and the shield also requires a mount that can withstand strong winds given the profile of the shield.
