Excellent wireless headset. But if you're expecting something like the A40 or A50 with EQ profiles, gates and mic settings, you might be disappointed. It has 3 common equalizer presets that you can change by pressing the button on the headset. The Astro Control Center doesn't do anything when you plug this headset in, other than asking if you want it to default to PC or Xbox mode. Otherwise everything is empty. The headset cannot be modified as none of the parts can be replaced. The boom of the microphone is also not removable. A big issue I had is that the microphone picks up a lot of room noise. It either doesn't have noise cancellation or it's an omnidirectional mic because it picks up people talking from about 10 feet away and sometimes picks up my laptop's fan noise. Unfortunately, there are no settings available to adjust noise reduction. Sound quality is great, just make sure you have Dolby Atmos. You can also use the free Windows Sonic instead, but I've found that some PC games like Call of Duty do not have Windows Sonic working properly. both Xbox and PC out of the box. It's definitely an upgrade over the turtles. However, this might not be good for you if you are in a noisy environment.
