My son doesn't speak and doesn't show much interest in toys etc. but he likes to hop/bounce. I used to buy big balls at Wal-Mart and they won't last long. I found them and decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did. This is the best thing I gave my son. He likes to sit on it and drive it around the house. Now we have a training ball and two of them. Cons: The handle isn't strong enough to grab onto to jump up and down, but that doesn't bother us.
