I installed it on the outside of a small truck trailer where it controls the power of a 12 volt deep cycle battery used when camping. The unit stays fully lit and I don't see any corrosion or signs that the weather is causing any problems. No vibration problems. It has been in hot Death Valley, Madras, Oregon, during a solar eclipse, on the Central Coast of California, in rain, fog and mist since purchase. No problem. The digital display compares favorably to a multimeter that has an accuracy of 1/10 or 2/10 volts. good enough for me
