These socks are very small. My son wears a 51/2 Y and my daughter wears a 7 Youth and they don't fit either. Maybe I misunderstood the size grid. I find that many children's clothing sizes are ambiguous and this is no exception. I find US, Canadian and European shoe sizes help me make a better decision than S, M, L. Quality was good but not as good as Hanes adult products.
