This is a dryer (and styler). I confirm that it dries the hair in a short time, even thick water that coats the hair like mine (I think 5-10 minutes after towel drying). It might not be fair to compare it to other $400 devices, but it works. Plus, it's the only hair dryer I've found that can do this with just 500 watts! I have confirmed this (see picture with power meter). Calling all lost ladies - this probably works with your battery powered electrical system! To the manufacturer: 1) consider a flexible bristle option - all I can say is all those hard plastic bristles aren't going to last long, and 2) make a cover that matches the silhouette. There isn't much free space in the camper and it would be good to protect it from all those bumps.
