UPDATE: Customer service proactively reached out and refunded me.Batteries were plugged in for about 24 hours, and fortunately I just happened to be home when one of the batteries started making a hissing noise, and I unplugged them. The battery had melted down and probably almost caught fire.I will note these batteries were outside in solar lights for a couple years, and I brought them in to charge. So one may have been damaged. Before the hissing started, I noticed all the other batteries had green LEDs showing they were fully charged, while this one had a persistent red LED. So that was an early warning sign.Regardless, I’ll never buy this brand again. It would have been absolute devastating to come home to a burned down house and dead pets.
