Solid Microphone Arm: Microphones and accessories

Overall, this microphone arm is very durable. The connection to my desktop seems super secure, which I really like. It absolutely does what it's supposed to. That being said, I have two minor criticisms: 1. The mic arm is too rigid to push the mic far horizontally when taken out of the box. The only reason I bought a boom is to be able to put the mic in front of my mouth. I found that I had to loosen one of the springs on the bottom half of the boom to allow it to travel far enough to get to me from the side of my desk. Additionally, it doesn't look like there's an easy way to remove the spring so it just hangs. See the photo I've attached. A minor inconvenience, but worth mentioning.2. The pop filter mount is very stiff. I found that once placed over the mic, it often slowly moved away from the mic until it was off-center. A bit annoying, but also not disturbing. Overall a really good microphone arm. Easily holds a Blue Yeti USB stick.
