Rough! algae in the water!
I noticed that there is algae on the bottom of the water jug. I've had this mug for a long time and have never seen it. If a filter company offers a water quality test kit with every purchase to check if the filter is working, I might consider buying that filter. Since this will most likely not be the case, I will stick with PUR filters from now on.
