OMG! MUCH better than those stupid suction cups on the shower tray! I was also worried it wouldn't work. But it's great and doesn't leak water. And they are much easier to use! I have a plastic shower surround and it's not very pretty so I was concerned it would only make it worse. It's not like this. I don't notice them when I'm in the shower because that's when they're in use. And when I'm not in the shower, they hide behind a closed curtain. They were easy to install. First I rubbed the area with rubbing alcohol to make sure it was clean and dry. I also took a shower and placed the liner roughly in the position I wanted to determine where to place the clips. I have two on each side, top and bottom. The paper backing on the sticky side is difficult to remove unless you move slowly and be careful not to tear it as the adhesive is very strong. But I took it off, put the clips in and held them for about 30 seconds just to make sure the glue was fully bonded. There are no instructions on the packaging so I just treated it like a 3M hook. I would suggest putting brief instructions in the box for those who have never used other types of these products. The clips are strong enough to grab the liner without cutting it. I haven't had it in a very long time so I don't know how well the nib stays rust free. I have slightly acidic well water, let's see. I will brush them with a toothbrush to remove any residue around the feather. To be honest, I'm wondering why I haven't seen these things used over the years. They really are a lot nicer to use and I'm really glad I bought them!
