Review on Pair Surgical Steel Horseshoe Earrings by Maya Allen

It's pretty nice! They are about the standard size for earrings, which is what I needed. (I knew a size 18 would be too thick for my piercing, but these fit perfectly and are comfortable.) As for diameter, it's a good size for earlobes. I suspect they might be a little big for the upper cartilage but I needed them for the second holes in my earlobes and they are perfect for that. They also appear to be quite sturdy and didn't deform when I tried to unscrew the cones. I was worried they were so skinny they would bend over, but they didn't. To be honest I only got them because one of the piercings became infected after 20 years - I haven't worn anything in them for a while and after putting in a new pair of earrings I don't seem to like them much, even though they were 14k gold. I knew they would heal much quicker with hoops and salt baths, but I had endless hoops that couldn't be secured with a wire that had to be fed into the tube, so I ordered them after a day or two of irritation. . They arrived quickly as expected and were in perfect condition. They were in a small plastic bag, in a thick plastic bag with a card inside, but the outer mailing envelope was huge! It was a 9x12 mailbox! Much larger than needed but it arrived safe and sound and not bent so I'm happy. I will say, if you have not dealt with such earrings, then the cones are SMALL. Seriously teenagers. And I found them a bit difficult to solve at first. I would have preferred bullets, but couldn't find any with Prime shipping, so I went with the cones. They're cute, but I managed to lose a small cone the first time I put them in. Of course it was my fault that it slipped when trying to screw it back on. I hope he magically reappears, although I've searched the whole floor and never found him. In the meantime, I grabbed a pair of fishhook earrings with small rubber plugs and attached the plug to the back of the one that didn't have a cone. Not so cute, but at least the earring stays. Basically I'm satisfied!
