Does NOT look like the picture. Much cheaper than plastic.

These controllers are not like the ones posted by the seller. These photos look like the controller that came with the NES, but the ones you get from this seller are MUCH cheaper than the plastic and construction. They don't look like advertisements at all. They look like fakes you can buy at the dollar store. The plastic creaks when you touch it (like even lifting the controller would make it creak and groan), like one of those blister packs you buy at the store. The pad is about twice the height, creaks when touched, and doesn't look like a regular controller at all. The red buttons are plump and sloppy. They move in all 4 directions, like some kind of trackpad or something. The launch/select buttons are much larger and easier to press accidentally. You may feel the loss of stability and lack of structural strength. Even the colors on the Nintendo plastic are richer. The NES Pad is grey, but this one is more of a tanish gray (like it's old and used). The black pad on the NES is black (this pad is grey-black) and the NES buttons are bright orange and this pad is pale red (looks almost dirty). The sticker on this panel looks better in the light than on the Nintendo and is easier to read, although it's not taped all over the controller like it was on the NES (the corners lift up around the panel as if it's misplaced been). When trying to duplicate the NES, maybe a color change might be the way to go. Orange controller, black controller, red, white, green, blue, etc. This way we don't have to hunt down cables to figure out which is which (especially with the long cables that come with the kit). Make the end of the cable (that comes with the NES) the same color. Make the plastic harder. Increase the tolerances on the keys so they only move up and down and don't slide back and forth all over the place. I don't want to hear my controller creaking unless I'm pulling on it during a difficult part of the game. The sound from the controller was just meant to be a warning that I'm about to break something, not pick it up off the table. There are a lot of accessories in the box including extension cords and replacement parts for the controller and I don't really need controllers so I'm still debating whether to return them and try another seller or just keep them.
