Not as good as other coats but still important
on the Revane scale - 3 stars is good, 2 stars pleases me. I agree with another review that it's not as good as other lens coatings, but I would never recommend not having it. I love lens coatings and use them on large glass. I carefully removed the clear covers from the IS controls (it was close by) and the TC switch (it was absolutely necessary). I also couldn't properly use a lens with overlays for the focus and zoom rings. The rest of the coat is undamaged and in use. So I guess that means everything is fine, but since I wouldn't have gone on the expedition without him, I'm very upset. I like them - I just think this one could be better.
