The average size is a bit big for a 3 month old baby!
My husband saw this burrito blanket and had to buy it for our new grandson who he called the little burrito that was wrapped all the time. I love it and my daughter enjoyed it. Has survived a wash and is nice and soft and light so a good light duvet for a baby. He felt that the smaller 36" diameter was too small, so he bought a 49" which is a bit too big. But the child grows up!
