I have several portable power stations from 180 to 500Wh. The problem you always run into with prolonged use is that you will eventually run out of power unless you are close to a grid , a car or another source. for charging. I have a 100w "suitcase" charger but you are damn sure you will not take it in your backpack or even a common problem is that you will eventually run out of charge. This is where the solar panel gives you much more flexibility. At 5.2 pounds (panel only) or 5.8 pounds (with all cables included), the OKPRO 60W panel is definitely one of the lightest panels, although it weighs about the same as mine . 300Wh power plant. How much energy can you get every day? Based on my testing I would estimate 250 watt hours per day. The test was conducted in Michigan on May 6th on a cloudy day. The Almanac says we currently receive 14 hours of sunlight, although the vast majority of energy is collected within 4-5 hours when the sun is at its peak. Period (1:30 EDT) Here are the times and charge percentages observed using the OKPRO 540 Wh power station: 0819-51%, 0924-55%, 1030-59%, 1217-70%, 1307-75 %. 1420 - 82%, 1513 - 87%, 1606 - 92%, 1750 - 96%. Assuming the power meter is accurate, that means I collected 243 watt-hours on a less than fully sunny day with the solar panel in the same spot and at the same angle - you'll get more power if you use the angle regularly to adjust. It's been terribly cloudy lately though, in which case an 80W or 100W panel might be a better choice. Note that the OKPRO battery comes with a 90W charger so it can certainly make use of most of the extra power, giving you more buffer in bad weather - the downside is the size and weight of the larger panel . a power supply that tells you and reads the power consumption. I tested this in Michigan on May 6th so we get about 14 hours of daylight. Using another power station, I was able to confirm that this solar panel actually puts out 60 watts. Set up was very easy - the flat buckles were a little tricky at first. There are 2 legs so you can tilt the panel. Just look for shade and rotate the panel to face the sun as directly as possible. During my test, I pointed it due south, but didn't change the angle of the panel at all during my test. Note that you may need to use an adapter tip to make it work with your power station. With the OKPRO 540W station I had to use the one with the white tip.
