Restricted Use

I purchased this unit for use in my drag racing car to control the air/fuel ratio during a race. I've checked the RPM of the motor (requires a cable not included in this kit) and the A/F ratio and it runs and works well most of the time. The software was basic but useful, and I didn't find any major bugs. I also bought a heatsink for the sensor because in a race car the temperature can get too high for the sensor and shorten its lifespan. However, this is not what you need to replace a dedicated data acquisition system for your race car. Some adapters and junction boxes are sold, but this device is not reliable enough for data storage. The playback on the device is uneven, even though the data has been recorded on the SD card and can be viewed using the PC software. If you're looking for an A/F ratio meter with some writing capacity, this will work just fine. If you're looking for a data logger that can be used on every single run or expandable to multiple channels, this isn't the one for you.
