The next logical step after the PS3. The price dropped significantly after the pro version was announced. Changing out a drive is a breeze. The price of retail video games is slightly more than that of their PC counterparts. Streaming video game support for poppy, android, and Windows is a fantastic touch. It's fun to play while waiting on the job (even via LTE if the connectivity is fine). In compared to my PC, I did not see any graphical improvements. The PS3 and Xbox 360 had a major impact upon their release, but that has since faded. Poor frame rate (FPS) performance is seen in some circumstances, such as Bloodburn. At the current exchange rate, spending 1-2k on a bunch of "oldies" or anything new during a sale is not a terrible idea. Sony's accessories are as sturdy as a stone archway, but this has always been the case. A bit more content in 2022 might make this a viable media center, but for the time being it's just a somewhat more advanced PS3 with a feature in the form of streaming to a mobile phone or laptop.
