***** Edit 11/20: Another circular needle fell apart after minimal use. currently not recommended **** Products received today, see attached pictures. They were grouped in sealed bags and each pair of single point needles were packed together. All sizes tested with Knitters Pride needle size. The sizes of the single point needles were accurate. Some circular needle sizes were slightly different; enlarging only the first 1/4-1/3 of the needle tip and enlarging the rest of the needle. I've noticed that some of these can take the lightest of grinds but aren't rough enough to cause splinters. The needles are all light. Overall, on about 6-10 needles, size imprints are difficult to distinguish or are completely absent. Using a needle size gauge, I plan to find a way to mark them myself. Maybe with a pen or marker/nail polish. The smaller sizes are very thin and need careful handling when used. I'm a fairly new knitter, less than a year old, prefer large sizes and will probably try it soon. A pair of spokes can cost at least $5.99 each. The included tool kit also saves you money as you can easily spend $1-$3 per unit. I seem to have spent between $1.59 and $1.99 for 2 plastic yarn needles. Overall I think it's worth adding to your collection and not spending a lot of money. For beginners I would caution against using the smaller sizes as knitting requires a lot of strength/pressure; how do you break them But with a light touch and light yarn I suspect they will work. Taking into account the cost factor, even just taking US sizes 10/6mm and up, for the price I would definitely recommend. Despite the mentioned small flaws I would not come back. There is an odor that reminds me of the smell of lacquer which I suspect goes away after airing the bag. Update 12/27/19: I was using one of the round neck needles and the plastic tubing started tearing at the connection point. Connection. I added a piece of ribbon to reinforce it, but then my yarn started sticking to it. I'm thinking of finding some strong tape to reinforce the rest of the circular needles. With straight needles, about size 6.5, they flexed a bit in use. Therefore, as I mentioned in my original review, finer needles require careful use. In conclusion, I advise beginner knitters who don't want to spend a lot of money but want to try different needles before investing a lot of money to give it a try. At least. You will receive additional tools and larger needles that should be used over time.
