This is a good little case if you're short on space and space to pack. The listing says it's 0.8" wide, but I measured it's only 0.5" wide and there was nothing in it. However, it is definitely at least 0.8" wide with everything in it. The padding on both sides makes it appear much wider. If you want it to be as thin as possible, you can fill in just one of the sides or sections on both sides that do not overlap. The largest stretchable bay will barely fit a nearly 3" wide 2.5" hard drive or a 2.5" wide mouse. The second largest stretch compartment next to it is less than 2" wide. The three narrow stretch Compartments on the other side are only 1.5" wide. Two zippered mesh pockets are 4" deep. One useful additional use I've found is that the sleeve makes a pretty decent mouse pad. You may need to empty it most of the time, to make it flat enough, but it works well enough in a pinch (like on an airplane or on a bench). Note that space is very tight and you won't be able to fit anything you want. For example, d Most laptop power adapters just don't fit into this thing. Also, if you manage to fit everything, it can be messy and quite thick, which undermines the little organizer's perspective. After taking it on a trip, I think maybe take it a larger size so next time I don't have to be super careful about what I take with me. I'm certainly not going to shoot stars for it because I knew how small it was when I ordered it, but I do want to warn others: if you don't mind traveling light and you only have a 3 or 4- cable organizer, a wall charger, a mouse/hard drive and a few adapters, I'll do my thing. If you're the type who likes to carry everything with you in case you need it, or if it's not for travel and you just need something to keep your stuff organized at home, you really should consider the larger case.
