Mountain bike only - not compatible with road brakes
These are good cables and feel well made and smooth. Yes, and accessories with various tips and pinch ends are good. Despite the label "universal" they are not. They only fit mountain bike (MTB) brake levers with barrel ends. Street brakes require the smaller end shown in the photo above. Most universal brake cable sets have one of these connectors on each end, so you can use either one. It's not just MTB. For the price, it's hard to complain too much. But the description is wrong.
