Full featured radio at great price

I have an emergency radio/flashlight in my truck. well, emergency lighting and my old one has expired. It was the closest I could find to my old one. Everything works great as expected. Radio picks up very well, even in my woodland scenery - AM, FM and NOAA weather are all clear. The flashlight is nice and bright, although I don't see the need for a strobe light. But. it's there when you need it. In addition, it even has a motion sensor, so it can turn on the light when needed. feel movement. Not quite sure why SOMEONE would need it, though. she is there when you need her. Of course, the emergency radio is useless if you run out of batteries at the worst possible moment. The instructions recommend charging the internal batteries via USB the first time, and then about every six months. You can then charge them on site using the built-in solar panel or a hand-powered generator. Of course I wasn't listening and went straight to the handle :) Works perfectly, and nice that you can turn it in any direction - doesn't matter. Then I left it in the sun, the charge indicator light came on and charging started as expected. Only after that did I follow the instructions and let it charge fully with the USB cable that came with it. An advice. Don't leave this on your car windshield thinking the sun will keep it out. This (or rather the heat from it) killed my first radio. It took several years, but still. Just in case, I plan to keep this in the mini fridge in the truck.
