I saw the SCRUBZA TRAILPIKs in Seth's Bike Hacks recommendation video. For the price I thought it was a small amount to service my 2018 Trek Top Fuel 9.8. You know what? They are actually drain cleaning brushes repackaged as bike cleaning brushes. It took me a while to figure out how to use these brushes. In Seth's video he shows you how to move the brush in and out of the cartridge. The instructions that come with it say to loosen the cartridge and slide the cartridge over the brush. So much faster. My only complaint is that the brushes fill up with dirt too easily. I guess that's a good sign as it traps all sorts of dirt in the teeth. Haven't tried cleaning them yet but I think soap and hot water will keep the brushes clean. To clean these TrailPiks you will need a cleaning brush. If you have an expensive bike and want it to last a little longer, get a TrailPik. They are worth the investment.
