Review on Channellock 927T Universal Tip 5 Tips by Keegan Herbert

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great tool, versatile and inexpensive.

In the photo there is a 6 mm locking ring. If anyone has ever tried to remove and install a ring of this size (SMALL), they know that it will most likely be found by a vacuum cleaner after it has flown somewhere in the room. These are GREAT circlip pliers on many levels. First, there are several different nib sizes, as well as straight and 90 degree nibs. They're easily swapped out with the included Allen key, and they all fit in a small pouch to keep them together. The spring tension is just right, low enough to give feedback as they enter the ring. The inner ring can be easily exchanged for the outer ring with a toggle switch. For the inner rings you have a range of about 1.25 inches and they go up to 0.75 inches in diameter. The handles are covered with plastic and are easy to use. Best of all, except they work great? They are made in the USA. I have a pair of snap ring pliers that I bought to replace the bearings on the band saw blade guides. My other ring pliers require you to switch handles inwards or outwards and they have fixed diameter tips. As you can see I am very happy with this tool. It's worth every penny and it's not a lot of a dime.
