I've had this router since February and haven't had to do much since installing it. If you're familiar with Linksys routers, setup should be easy. During the installation I encountered a small problem. I couldn't "navigate" to the various settings screens. Let me take a step back. I configured that through the router. 192.168.1.1 path, I didn't bother with the software. I wanted to use the settings from my old Linksys (it would be cool if you could create an import file with your old settings.) Going straight to the firmware tab and updating the firmware fixed this issue. Once that was done, setup was easy. I had trouble crashing my old Linksys. There were no such problems with this device. The range also seems to have grown. I set up my old Linksys as a WAP and am connected to this router via CAT 5. The indoor coverage is excellent. Linksys no longer has indicators on the front of the device. So if you want to show the status with flashing lights, you have to rotate the device. I'm pretty sure this was due to light pollution in a dark room. let's say a bedroom or a living room. However, I did enjoy seeing status indicators from time to time. Little problem. Overall I am very satisfied. Outstanding performance and great price. And it is very easy to connect another Linksys as WAP.
