I bought it to draw with alcohol ink. I think women trying to get their hair done will also find it clumsy, too big and heavy to hold, too strong even on a low setting, and too hot for any purpose. The brushes that came with it were crushed and the bristles were bent. Velvet headbands are luxurious. I'm bringing it back - although it will be sad to see hair ties go away. The moment I turned it on quietly and pointed it at my paper, the ink, the paper and hell, almost the entire table exploded. I'm serious about the fact that a low level is too high. It's also quite noisy. And it looks fragile. Again, I think anyone using it for its intended purpose will feel the same way.
