The benefit to me was clear: broadband coverage, simply tune in to any band, accepts higher transmit power than most loop antennas, no need to buy additional accessories, it's a complete set, ready to use. When the antenna arrived I was amazed at how they packed everything in a box that didn't weigh much. The antenna system is very light and easy to install. I mounted the antenna on a tripod about 6 feet off the ground and set the system at 40 meters. I've received 5/9s from North Carolina, Denver, Ocala, Florida, New Hampshire using a SuperAntenna with a Yaesu FT891 that put out only 40 watts.
