The problem only appeared at the end of the installation. Strength .
The only problem was the late installation. The TV's power cord is located at the bottom of the back of the TV and since it sticks out about 4 inches, I was unable to attach the bottom of the TV to the mount as the cord hit the wall and prevented the mount from retracting fully. I'm going to switch to HD and grab some plastic washers, maybe a PVC pipe cut to 3" and longer screws, and reattach the rear bracket to the TV with additional washers. Hopefully this will give me enough room to complete the install The downside is that the TV doesn't retract as close to the wall as originally intended, and how?
