Really easy to stretch on a long ottoman. My bench measures 21.5" x 49.5" at the thickest part of the top of the bench. Good stretch. Fits perfectly. It has straps but I don't have the ability to wrap those straps around the countertop so I just tucked them in. In fact, they are not needed as the elastic is excellent. I use this to keep cat hair on the bench. Works perfectly. Haven't washed it yet but seems to be holding up. Cats like it soft, so they always sit on it.
