Perfect replacement for my old RV's water heater (Suburban SW10PE). The old gas valve was defective. The pilot light ignited, but the main burner did not turn on at all. It's worth noting that the plastic coating on the temperature sensor (the part that goes into the tank) is a bit fragile. The old one failed due to internal threads in the tank which appeared to cut through the plating during installation and allowed water to seep into the gas valve itself. So be careful during installation so as not to damage the plastic.
