So I've been using essential oils to scent my car for a long time. The best way I've found is to put an incense stick in the car, but instead of burning it I'll drip 2 drops of oil with the same scent on it every few weeks to intensify it and it works GREAT. I wanted to try something more understated in my new car so I bought them, poured oil in one and snapped it on. And he wasn't happy. The smell dissipated quickly and it took a lot more oil to even it out than my other trick. I can just cut some incense sticks into short pieces and stick them in this thing to see if it works better than the styrofoam inserts. Maybe they are TOO absorbent?
