Stevan Robinson's Birdz Eagle Glasses Review

The glasses work great! Took them for bike rides in winter. I've been using them this fall (since 11/11/11) and don't have many complaints. You have to keep in mind that they are designed for use on a motorcycle, so the airflow design will affect your peripheral vision. This comes into play when checking for a lane change and blind turn on the bike path. For inexperienced city drivers it can be difficult at first. This can become an issue over time, or it can be solved with mirrors if you want another device on your bike. I blame this complaint on the short-sightedness of the buyer. Although the company says they are fog-free, they do fog up during my use. In cold Iowa weather, glasses require you to move around to control the temperature of the lenses and hence condensation. The padding is great at keeping air out, and then when you stop at a traffic light, your body heat sweats inwards. The goggles have air holes on the sides but I don't think they are big enough to solve this problem. But your eyelashes and eyeballs will not freeze in wet snow and wind. Overall I give these glasses 4 stars. I don't think I need to talk about the different lenses because if you buy them as a kit you know what each lens type does. I really think they will be a very affordable buy for any rider who needs goggles.
