In the first photo the light is on at night. Can see shadows, but nothing except in close proximity to windows. 2nd photo inside and outside by day. Very good. The 3rd looks in during the day, there is no light inside. Nothing to see inside. That's exactly what I wanted. A way to see. Light falls on it and you get very pleasant colors. If you use this as a phone screensaver, it's pretty easy to apply. It's actually easier because if you're confused and need to fix it, it's easy. I used a water and vinegar mixture that I use for window cleaning. First I washed the windows well. Then I made a template out of paper. Cut out part of the window. Painting the window then started from the top of the window, slowly peeling off the backing while I applied the foil.
