Unlike most of my other scrubs, this one is applied to dry skin and then washed off, so better before bathing than during bathing. It's a jelly, so it works pretty smoothly. Smells more like grape jelly than dragon fruit, but still good. I have found many dry spots on my legs after use but I don't feel like it is hydrated. You don't walk away with the silky feeling that sugar and salt scrubs leave you with. Still, I find it very helpful to know where my extremely dry spots are, and my heels and soles of my feet, which are dry, seemed to come off beautifully after just one use.
